Herstmonceux Castle Gardens and Grounds For the past 500 years more and more people have been visiting the Gardens & Grounds of Herstmonceux Castle to admire its impressive design, its unique brickwork, beautiful gardens and setting within the Sussex landscape. In 1993 the Castle was purchased by Drs. Alfred and Isabel Bader and donated to Queen’s University, The Queen’s International Study Centre was born, and since 1994, the Bader International Study Centre has continued to grow and today welcomes students from around the globe.
